R. Rich
Peyton Manning is a choker....one of the greatest EVER, and he is trash... Is ANYONE great in sports anymore these days? Welcome to the world of blogs and the internet: Where being good is bad. This post is a choker.
Heels20X6
http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/9033410...-is-done-in-S.D. Wow....Willis the retard makes another fine post to the Wall.... It's amazing he has time to do it considering he's got to fellate Brady every time he rings a bell. Super Bowls won by Mannings in the last 3 years - 2 won by Brady in the last 3 years (including a year he had the most stacked team ever) -
KD in CA
Actually, if Dan Marino had the San Francisco defense, Jerry Rice, John Taylor, Brent Jones, and the rest of that group, people would be putting him well ahead of Joe Montana. Dan Marino was a more talented QB than Montana was. Montana was in a better situation and made the most of it. Agreed. Guys like Marino, Elway (in the '80s) and Manning made their teams so much better, often dragging mediocre teams into the playoffs where -- big surprise -- they couldn't hang with real powerhouse teams. VJ91
http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/9033410...-is-done-in-S.D. I don't even have to read the article. Peyton Manning won a SB with the Colts and was the MVP of that game. Case closed, he is not a choker. Just like Elway lost his choker label when he won his first SB after losing 3. The following year, he won again, and was even the MVP - now that was a great way to retire after 16 or 17 years in the NFL...SB winner and MVP on your last game. I don't believe any SB winning QB can ever be labeled a choker. Even the ones who will never be confused with Hall of Famers. Dilfer, Rypien, Hostetler, Brad Johnson. They were the winning QB's, so they deserved the rings, and they may not have been MVP's of the games, (although I think Rypien was against the Bills, wasn't he?), but they did not "choke" away the SB wins for their teams either. Your command and appropriate use of the English language is above reproach. Especially your use of the word retard. BTW- Where did you go to school? RockPile007
Wow, Whitlock is reaching here. Never call a guy a choker that has won a Super Bowl and has 3 MVPs. What a dumb, prisoner-of-the-moment sound bite from Whitlock. If 310 yards, 1 TD and 0 Int. is "choking" put him in a Bills jersey right now. My Friends Call Me Tebucky
If you can't run the ball, can't stop the run, and you're on the road in the playoffs you're going to lose. All 3 applied to Indy this past week. Manning has had his share of playoff duds, but this is about their lack of a running game and letting Tomlinson/Sproles/Bennett stuff the ball down their throats. If it weren't for a couple ill-timed Chargers turnovers, that game would have been won easily by San Diego instead of in OT.
apuszczalowski
Who would have won with the defence Indy has been putting on the field? They actually looked to the Bills and tried to get McCargo, which they would have considered an improvement to what they had. That defence was horrible, and Indy's success has been because of manning and the offence. They have a very bad defence, butthe offence wins games because they are always a threat to score and it carries the team
