cantankerous
Watching him tonight against the Colts was amazing. He makes our safeties look like they belong on the practice squad, seriously. He's all over the field...Breaking up passes, blitzing the quarterback, making big hits and tackles not only in the secondary but at the line of scrimmage as well. The Chargers gave up a lot to pick this guy a few years back and it looks like it was a really smart move. I'd take him over anybody we got. My Friends Call Me Tebucky
I like him better than either of our safeties too. But that INT he dropped today was pretty brutal. Probably could have returned it for a TD.
MartyBall4Buffalo
Sd finished with the 31st ranked pass defense in the league. 27th in passing tds allowed. 30th in 1st downs allowed per pass attempt, and 21st in net yards gained per pass attempt. Bills were 13th ranked pass d. 4th in tds allowed. 12th in 1st downs allowed per pass. 19th in net yards allowed per pass. Eric Weddle is an active player around the ball, but their secondary is routinely victimized. Even without merriman they still have a much more active front 7 then we do. rednecksbasketball
I'm a Utah fan and remember watching him do this stuff for four years, and I'd love to have him on the Bills. He can play D, he can catch, he can kick return, hell he can even punt and pass. He is a really versitile player and would be a fantastic addition to the Bills.
