Not much of a NCAA football fan here I guess. Robert Marve to transfer Marve hails from Tampa. His father Eugene has prostate cancer and while it’s not the stated reason for the transfer, Marve understandably wants to stay in the Southeast, if not in state. Eugene was a terrific unheralded MLB for the Bills on some lousy teams. I was pissed when Tampa signed him during the then "plan B" free agency system if I'm not mistaken. udonkey Posted January 4, 2009 Share Posted January 4, 2009 Well, I can't say that I recall Eugene, but I hope that his ailment doesn't prevent his son from heading north - there's a lot of speculation that's saying the kid wants to come to Cincinnati.
