CJPearl2 Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 Just got torched for another TD. Wow, he makes our safties look like Bob Sanders.
Fewell733 Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 he's not one of those safeties that actually covers people.
bflobarry Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 he's not one of those safeties that actually covers people. ....like our safeties. Milloy is a stiff, and I would expect Warner to continue to go after him.
ofiba Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 he's not one of those safeties that actually covers people. We've got a few of those.
Sisyphean Bills Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 He's just doing a Whitner immitation. Pretty good at it too.
Fewell733 Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 our safeties are good at tackling after they let the guy catch it, milloy isn't close to the receiver to do that
Fezmid Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 The guy's the starter on an 11-5 PLAYOFF team, yet our fans still bash him. Hilarious.
Dawgg Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 The guy's the starter on an 11-5 PLAYOFF team, yet our fans still bash him. Hilarious. Seriously. Unlike Whitner, Milloy has played at an extremely high level all season long. He's off to a poor start but it doesn't change the fact that Milloy, even at age 35, is better than any safety on the Bills roster (including Donte "Loud Mouth" Whitner).
cåblelady Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 why should anyone hear care about Milloy? I have his jersey. ......in my closet.
BuffOrange Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 The guy's the starter on an 11-5 PLAYOFF team That obviously means he's good.
Fezmid Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 That obviously means he's good. It obviously means he's not terrible.
MattM Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 Now that the game's over and it's clear he was torched repeatedly (that Boldin TD for about a mile was all Milloy, for ex.), can we all agree that not all of our castoffs become all pros elsewhere? Speaking of which, I don't think I heard Coy Wire's name called once tonight and he was a starting LB (I actually like Coy, but he disappeared tonight).

You seem to have gotten your chips from Matt Millen. Wire was covering TEs and RBs and his name was not called because he made no mistakes. He made plenty of tackles including one-on-one on RBs unlike other players who had tackles broken and required gang tackles.
Kevin Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 I have his jersey. ......in my closet. I will give you a Bledsoe, and a Losman for it!
bills44 Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 It obviously means he's not terrible. Lonnie Johnson started at TE for the Bills in '96, when they made the playoffs....
BuffOrange Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 Lonnie Johnson started at TE for the Bills in '96, when they made the playoffs.... Re-check that. It's impossible to have a subpar starter on a postseason team.
cåblelady Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 I will give you a Bledsoe, and a Losman for it! No thanks. I already have 1 Bledsoe and 2 Losman jerseys.
KD in CA Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 At least Milloy (or Whitner) don't get caught staring at the bench while Reggie Wayne blows by for a TD. All the Cromarite worshippers here must have enjoyed that play.
