I have sat on the 50 yard line 1st row a few times. I thought also they would be great seats. The problem is you can't see over the players in front of you. You actually need to be up at least 7-8 rows to see the field.

if you want to see the game you need row 10 or higher. You will see many players butts and hear the coaching staff yell sometimes.

Those seats are probably seats for players' families that weren't used.

In the early 90's friends that lived just south of Corning came up on Saturday to see if they could get seats to the sold out game (were going to go through a scalper). They went to the stadium and got seats at the 50 about 10 rows up!

It turns out that a player (forget his name) got into drug trouble that week and was waived on Wednesday. They got his tickets. The envelope that the Bills gave them still had the player's name on it.
