OCinBuffalo Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 So much the "superior leader"'s "stunning record". I wonder if the thin air will make it easier to move Shanahan's ego?
K-Gun10 Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 500 dollars says cowher or holgram goes to denver
dave mcbride Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 Losing to the Bills = termination of employment! Or in the case of Mangini, even a Jauron gift can't save you if you stick it up against the Bills. That's true! That's five now, right? I'm including Mangine because a) he should have lost to the Bills three weeks ago, and b) he was swept last year by DJ.
The_Real Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 Its on ESPN.com now as breaking news Under the NFL section it's there. I didn't see it on the front page
eliteqb Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!! WE'RE A JOKE! Kill me now. Kill me slowly. Make it hurt as much as possible. http://www.rotoworld.com/content/playerpag...908&id=1928 No fair. You made me laff outloud and I don't usually do that. My wife is looking at me very suspiciously now but it was worth it......
profile Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 Oh my GOD!!! If we don't get him in here, I'll lose an easy ten years off my life!!! Someone above said something about the Jets probably landing him..... I don't know why, but I could totally see that happening...
Flutie Flakes Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 Wow, never saw that one coming! Doubt that Cowher would consider going to Denver.
Sisyphean Bills Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 Romeo beat the Bills too, but I guess he didn't blow us out so he's gone.
Wagon Circler Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 I think Pat Bowlen is crazy. Two Superbowl wins! I'd give my left nut to win a playoff game.
Guest three3 Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 Shanahan had three years and upwards of $20 million remaining on his contract
dave mcbride Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 Romeo beat the Bills too, but I guess he didn't blow us out so he's gone. Another game that should have been lost to the Bills. I'd fire him.
Cookiemonster Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 You mean to tell me that we could get Jauron's slightly older, but twice as smart twin brother? What are we waiting for?
Guest three3 Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 the very same day, practically the same exact minute that the Bills retain Dick for 3 years to avoid eating millions on his extension, Bowlen eats a 3 year 20 mil extension for a shot at Parcells, Pioli, Cowher, Spagnuolo HOW IRONIC
Beerball Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 the very same day, practically the same exact minute that the Bills retain Dick for 3 years to avoid eating millions on his extension, Bowlen eats a 3 year 20 mil extension for a shot at Parcells, Pioli, Cowher, Spagnuolo HOW IRONIC common, you promised
Guest three3 Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 i had to get it out, today is such a MONUMENTAL day for this franchise. i really promise this time, that today is my last
HawaiiBuffalo Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 Its on ESPN.com now as breaking news WHAT A JOKE, EVERYONE IN THE LEAGUE IS LAUGHING AT US NOW! DICK STAYS, AND WE STAY AT THE BOTTOM OF THE AFC EAST
Kelly the Dog Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 If he is owed 20 million on his contract, isn't there some rule in the NFL that you could hire him and pay him a million or so, and only that million comes off whatever his old team owes him? I think there is something like that. Lets just hire him as our OC and give him total control of the offense until he gets another head coaching gig. He might not get one this year, although he probably will.
Matt in KC Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 Broncos fire coach Mike Shanahan after collapse Okay, so I know Ralph just announced we're keeping Jauron. Is there any reason he couldn't also hire Shanahan?

Rubes Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 I am so horrifically embarrassed right now. I don't think I can even wear any Bills clothing anymore.
