TC in St. Louis Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 They sold out every game this year. If they keep Jauron, I believe they will not come close next year. For every 10,000 unsold seats, the impact is somewhere between $750,000 and $1 million. I don't know what they are paying Jauron, but it would seem to me that keeping him could end up costing this team millions in lost revenues (parking, concessions, tickets, merch), and the local blackouts would be costly as well. The Bills fans have shown tremendous faith and support for a team that has had a losing record for nearly a decade. It's time for Ralph to pony up and give a little back to the community by making the right choice. And in the process of doing the right thing, he will save himself millions of dollars. He's not an idiot. He's not doddering yet. I like Jauron. I also like my neighbor Jim, who is a great guy who drinks too much and could not coach the Bills. Even Jim, though, was at a loss as to why they passed on 2nd down against the Jets. And why they did what they did at halftime on Sunday. Jauron has made (or approved) some horrific calls this year. It's time to say goodbye, Dick.
