Wagon Circler
I actually thought the guy came on in the second half of the season and was starting to play decently. Now the memory I take into the off-season is him getting into it with someone with 14seconds left on the clock!

Sorry but I saw nothing impressive of him for him to remai a starter after this season if this was his audition for next season he has relegated himself as back up only. NOW Lets get us a TRUE center no more of these converted lineman

ans4e64
Why is everyone making such a big deal over this god damn field goal? First of all, there was almost zero chance we make the kick. Second, even if we did make the kick, who cares? We lose 13-3. Personally, I could care less about losing by 13 points vs 10 points, and would rather see someone throwing around Patriot defenders. You sound like Dick Jauron. Every point is important and squandering points or the chance for points should be considered intolerable. The FG was makable, plus the 3rd and 5 should've been called a pass play to teh end zone. A TD and a 7-3 lead would've been great momentum going into halftime. Even tying the score at 3-3 is a great momentum booster. Squandering a red zone drive killed our momentum, and energized the Pats; not to mention gave them another belly laugh at teh expense of our inept coaching staff. EasternOHBillsFan
You DO NOT let the Patriots goad you into a scuffle AND THEN lose your mind, not paying attention to the CLOCK!!!! That to me was just as bad as Losman's fumble, and an extreme BONEHEAD move. Preston, see ya. Get him off of my team as fast as you can, for pee wee football mistakes like that cost teams games. pkwwjd
My instant response to the situation was to yell at the TV that Jauron should not be allowed to come back out on the sidelines after halftime ... that sequence of events should have made Wilson mad enough to storm down to the locker room and have security escort Jauron off the stadium property. In theory, the score would've been tied 3-3 had we made a FG then. My issue is w/ the general strategy to play for a FIELD GOAL instead of actually trying to.....I dunno.......score a touchdown instead. Yeah, yeah, I know; that's loser talk. BUFFALOTONE
One word, mediocre. Two Words: Alex Mack I watched this kid on Saturday and was really impressed. Mean streak, picks up the blitz very well, tough at the POC. Sign him up now!

He played well during the second half, and our running game looked great yesterday. The people dissing Preston are doing so because they're in love with this Alex Mack. Fortunately, not even the Bills FO is dumb enough to spend the #10 overall pick on a center.

Now the memory I take into the off-season is him getting into it with someone with 14seconds left on the clock! He hasn't played horribly, but the Bills need an upgrade at center for sure. As far as the play in question. First of all, terrible call. You just don't run the ball in that situation, even in nice weather. Second, it's a smart play by the Patsie's. Duke pushed the one Patsie and next thing he was surrounded by 3 more, which prevented him from getting back to the huddle. I still think the refs should have stopped the clock at some point though, they let 15 seconds run off the clock...

Yeah very stupid play on his part - showed no sense of what was going on in the game - highly undisciplined - if he played for Singletary he would have been told not to leave the lcker room after the half. He did not cost us the game in the end but he very well might have.

Cookiemonster
Our running game has looked solid lately, not sure if is because of Duke, or in spite of him, but wasn't Peters out as well, if so, something has changed.

Almost every one of our run plays were between the tackles, and Jackson had over 130 yards rushing. But keep pretending Preston got pushed backwards on every play. BUFFALOTONE
not with the #11 pick...mayb e like #17...trade down? Did I say grab him in the first? And the worst player on our OL is with out a doubt Derrick Dockery. He should be ashamed to get his pay check every week. Do not be surprised if this guy gets axed. He looked absolutely terrible this year. Gets beat by mediocre talent constantly.
