TheLynchTrain Posted December 29, 2008 Posted December 29, 2008 Maybe he will if/when the bills move to LA kidding of course. Carroll will never come to buffalo.
K-9 Posted December 29, 2008 Posted December 29, 2008 McGroder wasn't 'inducted' 'til '85 - how could his name have been on The Wall when Carroll coached here in '84? Link Guess we were both wrong. There would have been two names at the time Carroll arrived; OJ and Kemp. More than enough to inspire Carroll when he arrived in '84. Hell, he would have been there for Kemp's induction then. What more inspiration would he need? GO BILLS!!!
My Friends Call Me Tebucky Posted December 29, 2008 Posted December 29, 2008 Pretty sure there is some bad blood between Wilson and Carroll...remember hearing a story about Carroll (after getting his first NFL win on opening day in Buffalo in '94) basically confronting Wilson in the tunnel after the game and taunting him. Maybe it wasn't Wilson, maybe it was Butler or somebody- I don't know, but I remember a story along these lines from way back.
stuckincincy Posted December 29, 2008 Posted December 29, 2008 Here's a fellow who doesn't like Pete Carroll or USC... http://www.bruinsnation.com/2008/5/15/5089...l-tim-floyd-usc

Actually, there would have been one name up there when he arrived - Simpson. Kemp went up during the year Carroll was here, though I'm not sure why Carroll found the Congressman so inspiring.
crazyDingo Posted December 29, 2008 Posted December 29, 2008 I think its a great idea. People from California ALWAYS work out well for us.
