Fan in Chicago
You know what I remember? I remember when we drafted JPL along with Lee Evans and we were all so stoked. Things didn't turn out the way we wanted with him and that is a shame but it wasn't because he didn't try. Good luck John Losman wherever you may go. Agreed. Why can't we just say a thankful good bye to a guy who gave it his best ? Thanx, JP and good luck in your future life - in the NFL or out.
The Dean
Agreed. Why can't we just say a thankful good bye to a guy who gave it his best ? Thanx, JP and good luck in your future life - in the NFL or out. Because that requires a modicum of class. Some here lack any hint of class. SwampD
Damn. When I read the thread title I thought it was about Jason Peters and got all excited.
BuffaloBill
Goodluck in your grocery bagging job and thanks for wasting all of our time you mope. A bit harsh for my taste .... happy to see JP go .. I just hope he returns as a starter against us .. a scenario not likely to play out
Bill from NYC
Actually, it was zero - Troy Vincent broke JP's leg in training camp his rookie season. That was his best season.
nodnarb
Goodluck in your grocery bagging job and thanks for wasting all of our time you mope. And there was much rejoicing...
VOR
That was his best season. It was also better than any of Trent's seasons so far. Nevermind JP's 2006, which is something Trent dreams of having.
SKOOBY
Slice it anyway you want, the coaches don't call fumbles to lose games. That's all JP and his HOF talent on it's own.
The Senator
That was his best season. I, too, am certainly guilty of ridiculous comments every now and then.
VOR
Slice it anyway you want, the coaches don't call fumbles to lose games. That's all JP and his HOF talent on it's own. So wait, fumbles and INT's in the middle of games, a la that 0-4 stretch, don't count?
The Senator
So wait, fumbles and INT's in the middle of games, a la that 0-4 stretch, don't count? Not if it was Trentie doin' the fumbling and throwing the picks!
VOR
Too bad for JP that no one picked-up his fumble (much less tackled Ellis before he got into the endzone) like Lynch did on Trent's fumble last weekend. I guess JP just fumbles wrong as well.
SKOOBY
Not if it was Trentie doin' the fumbling and throwing the picks! JP lickers will always blame everyone about his shortcomings.
Alaska Darin
You got us there. JP didn't have 5 wins combined until year 3, right? You mean because the situations are totally similiar, right?
Alaska Darin
McKelvin is not a bust. I know you weren't referring to me, but I want to make clear that I think the kid has potential to be an all time great as a kick returner, and a very good corner. What IS busted is the Dick Levy philosophy of building a fotball team around small, transient (they all lave as soon as they can) defensive backs, and today's weather should make this clear to all. Branden Alpert would look good today in a Bills uniform. The Vikings are more suited than us for games in this weather, and they play in a dome, right? How about Ryan Clady? That'd have been my pick.
