Johnny Coli
Came of age? Did he get his cherry popped? We played a terrible defense. Played a terrible defense and watched Denver self-destruct of their own doing on three + drives. So Trent has come of age against SD, KC and sort of against Denver, yet suffered the long-term affects from a concussed groin in every other game. He should be thanking Fred Jackson, because Jauronimo got his 7th win and he's one of Trent's biggest cheerleaders. Three more years of Trent coming of age against terrible teams, getting knocked out of 25% of the other games, playing terrible in inclement weather and mediocrity, mediocrity, mediocrity. thebug
Trent did alright, I don't think he "came of age" we still need to see more, but he going in the right direction. If JP payed in this game, Denver is a playoff team.

He did play a great game yesterday after starting out horrible.

Bill from NYC
They couldnt stop anybody with or without Bailey. Sorry im still not sold on Trent. Great potential but i dont think hes arrived yet And Evans had 2 catches for 19 yards seems like Trent really did pick their best apart.... Good point. JP deserves another shot. Bill from NYC
If you read some quotes, Evans was doubled all day so Edwards went to Reed. If you are going to criticize the bad you have to give credit to the good. You are wasting your time. The fanboys are seething because Trent played well and their love puppy is a national joke. EC-Bills
Good point. JP deserves another shot. Please explain where he called for JP? He is pointing out a valid criticism of Trent. Stop trying to deflect attention from Trent by bringing up JP. You and The Bug are notorius for that.

Bill from NYC
Right. Like you and your puppy love for Trent is any different There are a few differences. Trent can play. Losman can't. Another difference is that when Losman played, I actually rooted for him to do well. On the rare occasions that he played well, I gave him his props. The Bills are not that good, and their coach gives them a handicap in every game. The defensive system is an outdated joke, and the offense has gaping holes at TE and in the offensive line. Still, Trent has managed to win 20% more football games in 1 1/2 seasons than Losman has in 5 years, but it is like the fanboys just can't stand it. It is a little freakish to be quite honest. Yes, Bill- your paramour had a decent outing yesterday. Maybe Dakota Fanning was in the stands? How do you think he'll fare this Sunday in RWS against the Patsies*? Kelly the Dog
He's at good ball-handling, and can throw on the run pretty well, too. If the team would simply call more plays to mix it up, force him to go downfield with the ball, and do more play-action and rollouts, maybe he wouldn't look so limited. They havent thrown deep in about four games. Yesterday we tried two and both were long gainers. We hardly ever roll out and every time we did it worked. We ran misdirection and it worked. Shonert has had his head up his ass for ten weeks.
