R. Rich Posted October 28, 2004 Posted October 28, 2004 Now, we can put baseball on the back burner for the 3 weeks they're off before training camp. Congrats to the Boston Red Sox. Maybe the Bills can experience the feeling of finally getting over the hump soon too.

R. Rich Posted October 28, 2004 Author Posted October 28, 2004 yeah Rich, now we have no distractions to prevent us from enjoying Penn State football.... 89713 Hahaha!!! Was last week a great exhibition of offense from both the Bills and the Lions or what? Two teams combined for 10 points and 10 turnovers. Now, that's offense for you! [Actually, it's offensive to you!]
BF_in_Indiana Posted October 28, 2004 Posted October 28, 2004 Wasn't the final score 6-4? How the heck did that happen?
R. Rich Posted October 28, 2004 Author Posted October 28, 2004 All PSU could muster was 2 safeties. That's it.
Lori Posted October 28, 2004 Posted October 28, 2004 Wasn't the final score 6-4? How the heck did that happen? 89766 Two safeties, both from the Iowa punting game. The first was a horrible snap the punter kicked out the back of the end zone, the second one was intentional - the LOS was at the 1, and they decided they'd rather give up the 2 and kick off from the 20 than risk a block and possible defensive TD. They knew our offense was no threat to score.....

Thanks, guys....
BF_in_Indiana Posted October 28, 2004 Posted October 28, 2004 That's horrible. I think that was probably the most boring college game ever maybe? Wow.

R. Rich Posted October 28, 2004 Author Posted October 28, 2004 I thought that Iowa had the ball INSIDE the 1 when they took the intentional safety(?)

The question lingers: is JoePa in the same place now that Eddie Robinson was in during the end of his tenure at Grambling?
