Just kidding about the Peters thing.....I am sure he is not game ready and unfortunately the game is something even less than meaningless.

Expect Trent to get killed today and Hamdan to get his shot.

And why is Hardy on the list and not say, ON IR?

They did not IR him this week. Who knows why.....premature IR is restricted to Angelo Crowell.

Might be some kind of contractual thing, I don't know.

What injury did he have?

Bruised contract is what I heard. Guess they couldn't get him enough 0's this week.

He also had a side of "Elvis may make me look baditis."

Seriously--he did twist a knee last week...must have not recovered.

Knee. Limited Wednesday and Friday, DNP Thursday.

And what does he care? It's all about making the Pro Bowl, right? Mission accomplished, might as well shut it down until February.

Yes, I'm sure that Jason was terrified of facing Elvis "5 sacks" Dumervil.

That figure would be our team lead...

I'm not so sure Peters is not game ready. He missed the Pro Bowl last year due to injury and he really seems to be excited about it this year. Why should he allow a meaningless game against Denver in the c-c-c-c-cold weather possibly ruin his chances to play in his own personal "Super Bowl" in Hawaii?

And since Peters is inactive, why on earth not let the rookie Bell play today against the Broncos? I thought teams were supposed to start evaluating talent when they are out of the playoffs? Demetrius Bell looked pretty good in the preseason for a 7th round draft pick, why not let him play these last two games?

Interesting. I didn't realize it was anywhere near that serious to consider he may miss the game today. I guess you're right, though. Why risk further injury with the all important trip to Hawaii just a month or so away.

Why bother IRing him? Then you have a roster opening that you fill costing you money. Ralph is clipping coupons.

Shut it down period. He can milk it 'til March so he doesn't have to actually play in the Pro Bowl. And he can go directly back to his cocoon and to Hell for all I care.

Good point. And I can't say I disagree with Ralph. Why waste the money? Where does it get you?

Who do we hope fails now?

You'd have to ask the guy who started that thread, once he gets over his disappointment at Peters' absence long enough to get back to a computer.
