As a season ticket holder, I had already put a $50 deposit on the bowl game back in the early summer when I paid for my seats. Ponying up an additional $75 wasn't ideal, but it counts towards UC's official allotment, not only allowing me to sit amongst UC fans, but also helping to do my part to make sure that my school sells their 17,500 tickets. As of this Monday, UC had sold somewhere in the neighborhood of 13,000 tickets. I still feel pretty good about 17,500+ UC fans being in South Florida for New Years.
