sac bills Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 Once in a while, I'd like to see a Bill other than Marshawn Lynch trying to rip someone's head off.
Hazed and Amuzed Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 Once in a while, I'd like to see a Bill other than Marshawn Lynch trying to rip someone's head off. I've been saying this for about 4 years now. We are too soft, we need some fire on this team imho.
Movinon Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 I've been saying this for about 4 years now. We are too soft, we need some fire on this team imho. Yep, what we need are more hit and runs
K-9 Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 Once in a while, I'd like to see a Bill other than Marshawn Lynch trying to rip someone's head off. What's the correlation between character and ripping someone's head off? Or are you really saying that we need cheapshot artists on the team. Bills have had lots of character guys with a rip your head off mentality on the field but they didn't resort to cheap shots to accomplish it. Or are you saying Lynch doesn't have character? Sorry if I seem confused. GO BILLS!!!
BuffaloBill Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 Yep, what we need are more hit and runs Guess you are not a whopper virgin
drinkTHEkoolaid Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 i want 53 mean intimidating guys out there that the other team is afraid to play.
Jerry Jabber Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 Jauron is a character, Skeletor from the He-Man cartoons. Lynch is the Predator (Predator movies) Edwards is Mr. Glass (from Unbreakable) Walker is Jabba the Hut
cowtippur Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 High character is a good thing. Look at Cincy, no character doesn't equate to wins. We can have high character and tough playing players. There are many examples, but Carolina comes to mind because they are all I see around here.
bisonbrigade Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 The Bills need some major league A-holes who can get 15 sacks a year and scare the piss out of the opponent.
GhostsOfTheRockpile Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 Why should we be sick of "character" guys on the team? "Character" and "talent" aren't mutually exclusive. Despite what Marv Levy's drafting habits would have you believe, you can have guys who are good citizens and talented football players. You don't need "intimidating" or "a--hole" players. You need guys who can execute. If we had a team of emotion-less automatons who executed each and every play to perfection, I would be thrilled beyond belief. Ranting and raving and acting like a petulant child is overrated.
SageAgainstTheMachine Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 i want 53 mean intimidating guys out there that the other team is afraid to play. Can't somebody be high character and intimidating? John Lynch is the first name to come to mind.
Guest dog14787 Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 You want good character and leadership. Do you think we had allot of bad apples in the Jim Kelly Era? The Patriots are not lacking in good character players, they are loaded with them. Allot of attitude, and allot of character, its the norm for teams like the Giants and the Pats. Lack of character regardless of the talent leaves you with players like TO
BillsPride12 Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 We could use some Ronnie Lott and Mike Singletary's on this team
GhostsOfTheRockpile Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 We could use some Ronnie Lott and Mike Singletary's on this team What, you mean two character players?!? NO!!! NO!!! We need people who jump up and down and act like idiots and thus intimidate the opponents!!! Thanks for proving a point, Pride. Character and talent sure as hell CAN go hand-in-hand... you just need talented people at the top making the right decisions. People like the original poster shouldn't be complaining about too many "character" players, they should be complaining about too many marginal talents in leadership roles like Whitner, Posluszny, etc.
murra Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 Thug life, baby Didn't we have a player blatantly shove a ref into the groudn and break his nose last game? That was pretty badass.
BuffaloBill Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 Once in a while, I'd like to see a Bill other than Marshawn Lynch trying to rip someone's head off. Do you want pacman to play in Buffalo?
