NewEra
JP for the loss to the Jets. For starters, he's a BACKUP QB that may never start another game in the NFL again. He was only in there due to our starting QB being so brittle. He's not good. He's never been good. And will probably never be good. He shouldnt have been throwing the ball to COREY MCINTYRE WITH A LEAD AT A TIME WHERE OUR OLINE WAS DOMINATING THE GAME (for the 1st time all year). Should JP have gotten rid of the ball? OF COURSE! Should a backup crappy QB be throwing the ball in that situation? OF COURSE NOT! We all know that JPs pocket presence is nil to none. It seems like he fumbles 50% of the time when he is sacked. He is a turnover waiting to happen. WHY DID WE CALL A PASS TO COREY MCINTYRE????? OMGWTF!!!!!!!

Picture this. a technical foul is called, and the coach has the choice of who to put on the line to shoot the free throws.....and he chooses Shaq. That's a dumb idea. Odds are, he's gonna clang the shots. Just like JP. It's just not in him to succeed on that play yesterday.....compared with handing the ball to Lynch. This coach must go. bobobonators
This is exactly how I feel, and Rubes posted this very topic last night. To me, it's not about excusing JP for his putrid performance on that play (b/c there is no excuse), but rather that he never should've been put in that situation to begin with. Coaching 101: Put your players in the best possible position to succeed. Play to their strengths, and more importantly, be aware of their limitations.
