The call WAS NOT that bad

You know another time when Lynch had the hot hand? Against Cleveland. Remember when he couldn't get a first down after 3 straight carries then?

I'm sorry, but this play properly executed results in a first down, EVERYTIME. One first down would have been the dagger in the Jets' collective heart.

It was NOT a poor play call.

Your right,it wasn't a poor play call...

It was the most monumentally retarded play call in the history of the Buffalo Bills.

First off, This wasn't the Cleveland game and Marsahwn Lynch had just made a first down with the Jets stacking the box with NINE and expecting the run and still couldn't stop it !!!!

On the next play on first down he ran for FIVE yards, its second down and FIVE with two downs to make a first down.Passing when your backed up to your own red zone area is a stupid play call and always will be when the opposing team can't stop the run. What magnifies the stupidity of the call was the fact Lynch was ripping the Jets apart and would have easily gotten a first down with 2 runs.

Even the professional Pro Football beat writers and commentators are calling it the worst play they have even seen called. If you can't see these facts your just dense and want to argue a lost issue, OR your related to Turd Schonert :wallbash:

Yea so we call a play for a pass to McIntyre, a guy that has all but 3 balls thrown to him all season? A dagger in throat? The Jets had a dagger in their throught all quarter...again, they DID NOT HAVE A FIRST DOWN ALL QUARTER...when was the last time a bills defense did this?

The cleveland game was different...Lynch had just run 4 running plays and gained 17 yards. The Jets D was beat. It was over.

If you remember, we got the ball back TWICE after that, which is remarkable in its own. And the Jets Offense couldn't do anything even after their D came up with picks. Our defense even held them on FOURTH DOWN. And you're saying that they probably could have drove and kicked a field goal?

Usually you have some good comments big cat...not today

The Jets Defense just called a timeout to gather their wits/catch their breaths. They blitzed, sacked the QB, forced a fumble, and ran it back for a touchdown. That doesn't indicate them being "done" IMO. If you're going to postulate about what WOULD have happened if we'd have run the ball, you have to consider how they were playing WHEN THE PLAY ITSELF HAPPENED.

A run would have been stuffed.

False, the Jets anticipated a play action pass to the opposite side. The guy who ended up sacking Losman was supposed to be covering McIntyre on the left side of the field. Marshawn gets the ball there, and we probably win the game.

What are you basing this theory on?

uhh it's not a theory. you thinking that it's a good move to place the ball in the hands of Losman & McIntyre is a theory.

Read the post game comments from Elam (sp?) the guy who got the sack. He discusses their play call and how they were expecting a play action due to the time left on the clock.

I was asking to be serious, and if you have a link to the interview, I'd love to check it out.
