Big Hurt Posted December 19, 2008 Share Posted December 19, 2008 The NFL always tell us the ref is part of the field. If a pass hit the ref, they play on. So if the refs are part of the field and they are in the way, I think it is ok to push them away. Some plays are designed to use the ref to set picks. The refs just need to learn not to get in the way so that they can keep their shirts clean. I don't think Preston should be fined for that.
