Sisyphean Bills
You kind of knew it wasn't looking good when Losman had nowhere to go with the ball and a heavy was smoking in on his backside. He should've thrown it away. Congrats to Duke Preston for not sucking completely today. Who knew the Bills knew what a slant was?
NEEDFREDJACKSONNOW
You're right. It's not JP's fault. After all he only held on to the ball too long, failed to sense the rush behind him, and fumble the ball. I blame society. PTR No, its the UAW.... Seriously, JP is noted for fumbling.....Will never understand the call....
KD in CA
It was the perfect play to epitomize the Bills' 2008 season. 1) Idiotic play call by the coaching staff; you're pounding the ball on the ground and need five yards to effectively end the game. No reason to do anything but run the ball. 2) Peters, knowing the playcall is a rollout away from him, completely whiffs on blocking the blindside end. 3) JP, knowing the only thing he can't do is turn the ball over, holds the ball too long -- why I have no idea, because obviously he had no intention of throwing the ball to anyone other than the outlet receiver. A perfect storm of incompetence and failure. Hope you had a good laugh Ralph.

He should've thrown it away. Those plays are always like seeing a car accident in slow motion. You know it's coming, you know exactly what's going to happen, you just can't do anything about it. Hey, JP, there's some footage for your "highlight reel" you f---! Seriously, you're a nice guy, but you suck at playing quarterback.
