bizell Posted December 14, 2008 Posted December 14, 2008 did you like that jp touch fumble? not particularly
RJ (not THAT RJ) Posted December 14, 2008 Posted December 14, 2008 Play calling is astonishing from Turk and Co.... Favre is 12/17; JP is 11/17, but Favre has thrown for twice as many yards.
ans4e64 Posted December 14, 2008 Posted December 14, 2008 Scott is basically a linebacker out there. He makes some nice plays within 10 yards of the line of scrimmage but is an extreme liability in coverage. Once again, if Simson was an adequate free safety and we had better depth at CB (or fewer injuries) Scott would probably only see the field in short yardage situations. Liability in coverage? Haven't you seen him completely shut down the top TE's in the game one on one? He's our best safety. The strong safety basically IS an extra linebacker. Stop the run and cover the TE, and that's what he does.
KD in CA Posted December 14, 2008 Posted December 14, 2008 Are the WRs really that bad at getting open or is JP completely incapable of finding them?? He's had plenty of time to throw.
bills44 Posted December 14, 2008 Posted December 14, 2008 I think that the Bills should consider signing the "shoe thrower" this summer - he might give Edwards a run for the #1 job. Looks like he has a stronger arm than Edwards.
bisonbrigade Posted December 14, 2008 Posted December 14, 2008 Where are the safety and corner blitzes!
NavarreFL_Bills_Fan Posted December 14, 2008 Posted December 14, 2008 JP cannot be so clueless to not understand he's holding the ball too long...has he not seen any other NFL QB's play?
colin Posted December 14, 2008 Posted December 14, 2008 i honestly think on slant routes we prolly allow the highest PER in the nfl
bizell Posted December 14, 2008 Posted December 14, 2008 Play calling is astonishing from Turk and Co.... Favre is 12/17; JP is 11/17, but Favre has thrown for twice as many yards. well, the OC can call whatever play they want - the QB still has to throw it down the field.
Bmwolf21 Posted December 14, 2008 Posted December 14, 2008 Time for the 98-yard backbreaking drive...
TheChimp Posted December 14, 2008 Posted December 14, 2008 For all the flack I give JP, I'll be the first to admit that NO offensive coordinator he has had in Buffalo has even ONCE designed an entire game plan to capitalize on the kid's actual STRENGTHS (his legs). And we fans, we get to see drives that have, in their PLAN, JP running for yardage and making the defense honest, even to the point where he runs for an important TD, and, as if some magical fairy comes down and hits us with a bunch of dust, POOF! we forget, just like the OC, and we are forced to watch JP standing in the pocket and losing the game for us. It's like this entire city is in a fog of idiocy that we can't escape.
NavarreFL_Bills_Fan Posted December 14, 2008 Posted December 14, 2008 Play calling is astonishing from Turk and Co.... Favre is 12/17; JP is 11/17, but Favre has thrown for twice as many yards. If I recall, 4 of thos 11 passes for JP were harmless dumpdown as the clock wound down in the 2nd half.
stuckincincy Posted December 14, 2008 Author Posted December 14, 2008 JP with his typical sack and fumble- he has zero pocket awareness Lucky so far...3 BUF fumbles, none lost.
McD Posted December 14, 2008 Posted December 14, 2008 We have a 4 man front, but teams run though us like butter. UGH!
robkmil Posted December 14, 2008 Posted December 14, 2008 well, the OC can call whatever play they want - the QB still has to throw it down the field. jets and bills aren't playing the same defense either, and we have over 100 yards rushing anf favre has a pic.
