If we cut Drew now, we could take the salary cap for that signing bonus this year so we'd be free and clear next year. 88727[/snapback] By cutting DB now means a believe this team will somehow perform better under Shane Matthews or that the team can tread water waiting for JP to return. Otherwise, someone might actually take seriously the idea that cutting Bledsoe -and that $6.5 million signing bonus - could be done before the offseason.
