Chuckknox
Hire Marty or Bill and get a good staff as well. Pay the coaches more than the players, there is no "coach cap" yet.

Beerball
Ralph plans to have the team sold to the highest bidder once he passes. That bidder will most likely move the team cause it's worth more elsewhere. What is Ralph's incentive to spend money on a coach?

Dan
Russ, as a marketing guy, needs to change his strategy with Ralph. It's becoming fairly clear that this group of players and this group of coaching staff are not the right combination to get the team on track. So what's easy/cheaper... Replace all the players and get new guys that can implement the current coaches plans and win? Or replace the HC/OC/DC with guys that can get the existing players to implement a a new plan that wins? Replacing a dozen players (I just made up numbers for the argument) means cap hits and high FA signings equating to $10s of millions, perhaps $100million. Replacing the coaching staff with top of the line talent is what $10-$20 million? So which is the cheaper option?
Stevie Ray
Perhaps he's saving the money for that opportunity when he can personally offer Vince Lombardi the job.
apuszczalowski
who says he has the money to do it? Are you his accountant? Doyou have access to his bank account files? Can Ralph just go to his personal chequing account at M&T Bank and take out the money to get this new coach, or does this money haveto come from revenue thats brought in through the team? You do realise that the majority of the time when people are considered Rich, or Wealthy, that they don't have all that money just sitting in their personal bank accounts, that money is tied up in investments, and in things like Real Estate, and buisnesses. Just because the bills may be worth $800 million (give or take) it doesn't mean Ralph has that kind ofmoney just sitting in a bank account for him to use whenever he wants
