DIE HARD 1967 Posted December 11, 2008 Posted December 11, 2008 Perhaps you believe Ralph will not fire Dcik Jauron, I believe he will fire him on December 29th. Open this link and select a coach most likely to be fired by January 2009 Start from the bottom and work your way up the list till you find the Best fit for the Bills. We need a coach that can attract top assistants in a division with Bill Belichick and Bill Parcells I believe Ralph has no choice but to hire a proven Head Coach.....the fans will not accept a bright young assistant, and clearly needs to win back the fans. Keep in mind, there are always surprises in January. Please exclude the coach rated dead last on this list with a 8% approval rating. I like the following.... Norv Turner? Jack Del Reo? Mike Holmgrem is on the hot seat in Philly at 2-11. (The fans have a petition to replace him) http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/sportsnation/ratings Who do you like?

WellDressed Posted December 11, 2008 Posted December 11, 2008 LOL........slightly out of date, but seeing Ray Rhodes' name on the board, I'm going to go even deeper but keep it real in the same era and team, and say Emmitt Thomas will not be our coach in '09
Hazed and Amuzed Posted December 11, 2008 Posted December 11, 2008 and say Emmitt Thomas will not be our coach in '09 What about Thomas Smith? I say yes but only if he's learned to catch a football.
cody Posted December 11, 2008 Posted December 11, 2008 Looking at this list, I don't know who should be HC but I'd be happy if Ralph put up enough $ to make Norv Turner the OC and Marvin Lewis DC.
Jerry Jabber Posted December 11, 2008 Posted December 11, 2008 I'd take Norv Turner for our Offensive Coordinator and one of the 3 for Defensive Coordinator: Crennel, Lewis or Hazlett. Head coach: Cowher or Schottenheimer.

WellDressed Posted December 11, 2008 Posted December 11, 2008 Our new coach in 2009 will be Brian Billick. He will not command a high salary, he's the new guy, but not the right guy!!

WellDressed Posted December 11, 2008 Posted December 11, 2008 What about Thomas Smith? I say yes but only if he's learned to catch a football. Back in the day #28 was know as "egghead," the boy had a huge noggin...don't know what it was filled with, but it was large.
Hazed and Amuzed Posted December 11, 2008 Posted December 11, 2008 Why is no one really bringing up James Lofton? He was hot this off-season but I guess if you stay coaching the Raiders your stock is likely to go down. I think he would be a decent fit.

marauderswr80 Posted December 11, 2008 Posted December 11, 2008 As much as I want to replace Dick Jauron, I get to thinking about the 3 year thing with new HC's and I want to puke.....Thanks Ralph......but then I think of the Dolphins and understand things can be turned around in a year, with a key signing of a player, key coach & key front office people to get it all done.......
WellDressed Posted December 11, 2008 Posted December 11, 2008 Brian Billick would be willing to bring in Marvin Lewis. Those 2 did pretty well the last time they coached together. Marvin reminds me of Dick Nixon, he now has the power and it really brought him down. I can't see him relinquishing that power unless of course he gets impeached.

bills_fan Posted December 11, 2008 Posted December 11, 2008 If Scottenheimer or Cowher would not come here, would anyone have a problem with Russ Grimm? You know the team would run the ball aggressively and he wouldn't tand for soft players. He'd also show a boatload of emotion if thats a criteria.

They're so pissed at Andy Reid that they're already prepared to kick Mike Holmgren out of town too!
