RLflutie7
The Arena football season is back on for 2009. I guess some owners want to suspend operations but after a conference call the season is back on and going to happen . . . but that could change. These guys are knuckleheads. Some teams are shaky, but some like San Jose are solid and sell 15K tickets for each home game. Helps if you win consistently.
Buftex
Our team, here in Austin, the Wranglers (part owned by Deon Sanders), went from the "big" leauges, to AFL2, to defunct in the last 2 years...kind of sad. I went to a few games, and, I have to say, if I had kids, I would have taken them more often. The atmosphere at the games is pretty fun, in a family kind of way, and the leauge really goes out of its' way to keep the fans entertained. There is literally not one moment during the course of the game, where there isn't something going on, on the field. And tickets, good seats, were very reasonalbly priced. I think if the Buffalo Destroyers had been around when I was a lad, I would have been hooked...
