Beerball Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 I'm not saying he's dumb or can't talk properly. What turned me off was my own perception of his attitude. Like he was going to say something and you better listen or I won't talk to you again. I might be wrong but that was my initial impression when the piece began....... My finger wasn't pointed specifically towards you. Your response was ambiguous in its meaning. Others, not so much.
Sisyphean Bills Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 One thing that is common among teams that can and actually do run the football is that they have other "skills" players that can help out the line and block on the second level and down field. A Sam Gash or Lorenzo Neal sort of fullback can blast a LB right out of a hole. Having receivers like Hines Ward, Steve Smith, or Gage that are willing to go down field and blow a safety up. A TE that can seal the outside LB. Do the Bills have any of that?

I know it is early in the season, but doesn't that concern you? Reed is a willing and decent blocker, better than a big majority of WRs. For a burner Evans puts more effort into blocking than you typically see. We have a FB, haven't seen him actually block anybody yet. But again...your #1 RB is averaging 4ypc and he has yet to crack 25 carries...I detect a problem.
Steely Dan Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 You know I'm practically deaf in one ear, but, I had no trouble understanding what the man said. All this crap talk about his manner of speech is total BeffinS. Give it a break people. You're dissing (I'm 50, is that proper usage of the word?) him is not making you appear smarter. What he said. I'm willing to write off Lynch's problems this year as a sophomore slump. I don't like the split carries thing. Marshawn needs 25 carries minimum a game. RB's get into a rhythm as the game goes on. I see Jackson spelling Lynch like the guys behind Thurman did. Jackson can also be utilized more in the passing game. The highest graded FB should be a priority in the draft this year.
