Chef Jim
Did you read this part in the original post? Speaking with conservative talk-radio host Glenn Beck When did Glenn Beck become a liberal? Seems your point was either made up to try and make a point that doesn't exist or you're just an idiot. The left responding to his comments after the Conservatools keep dredging him up isn't the "lefts" fascination with him. Pasta Joe is Glenn Beck? Who would have thunk it. IDBillzFan
That is mind-bendingly stupid. I'm not arguing that you are one of the clear authorities on what constitutes mind-bendingly stupid, but please explain why you feel that way? Steely Dan
Who gets to decide which middle class buffoons the left wants to help? It seems to be your belief that somehow any help given to the middle class will exclude him. He will be unable to gain from these supports. Just because one guy in the middle class is a buffoon then that means that all of them are.
KD in CA
That is mind-bendingly stupid. Coming from a recognized expert on the subject. Were you not just on this board whining about some factory workers in IL and who was going to "see them through", and criticizing others for their lack of compassion? So where is your concern for Plumber Joe? Aren't you concerned with who is going to 'see him through'? Or are you just a hypocritical douchebag? Or are you too dumb to even understand the distinction? Did you read this part in the original post? Speaking with conservative talk-radio host Glenn Beck When did Glenn Beck become a liberal? I have no idea who Glen Beck is, nor did I call him a liberal (learn to read and your job search might go better), but I do know that the link provided was to a CNN story and the only people on this board who continually bring this guy up for discussion are left wingers. Wacka
He's moving from that s-hole CNN Headline News to Fox News, where a lot more people will see him. He was on before the Cayle Anthony Hour.
elegantelliotoffen
They need to keep people like Joe alive because it won't be much longer before the media starts turning on the Messiah. Once that happens, they'll need to drag out Joe like people keep dragging out old Tupac songs that were never released. It's how they keep they try to keep the attention off the Messiah. So the left wing, in a preemptive attempt to divert attention from Obama's inevitable mishaps, forced Joe the Plumber to hire a publicist and then subsequently manufactured Joe the Plumber's new book, his new "watchdog" website, his record deal, his potential congressional candidacy, and his appearances on Glenn Beck, Hannity and Colmes, Laura Ingraham, Neil Cavuto, The Fox Report, and Mike Huckabee? Steely Dan
I'm not arguing that you are one of the clear authorities on what constitutes mind-bendingly stupid, but please explain why you feel that way? And there you have it; people from the party that bitches, moans and whines about how the middle class is always abused and left behind once again going out of their way to ensure someone from the middle class is abused and left WAY behind. How is anything happening here going out of the way to ensure someone from the middle class is abused and left behind? I need an explanation of that because on it's face it's mind-bendingly stupid. It sounds like you are saying responding to things he's said on Glenn Beck's program is abusing him, by the way those comments were critical of McCain. It also sounds like you somehow glean that he is being left behind. Please expand on those belief's. Hate the message, kill the messenger, or at least the person who asked the messenger a question. "We must help the middle class. We must help the middle class. We must help the middle class. BUF if you don't mind, we want to choose WHO in the middle class we help." Tell me how this has anything to do with anyone choosing to help him or not. How would he not qualify for any help under any middle class relief? Give me lucid explanations of those statements. Where the hell is anyone getting the idea I have no compassion for his financial plight? Find me a post where I said that?! All I've said is he's an idiot that should have been ignored by the right and the left. First love the dig at being jobless! Thanks your class is beyond question. If you don't know who Glenn Beck is why would you say this? But that doesn't explain the left wing's continued fascination with him five weeks after the election. Why would people still care about a disposable campaign prop? He's on a conservative talk show. So it's not the left's fascination it's the rights. Learn who people are before you comment. The Dean
Ya know, in the closing days of the campaign this guy did basically become a mascot for the McCain campaign, I suppose that's why the regular media had him on and the right wing media slobbered all over the baffoon Correct. If he hadn't been referred to six thousand times, by McCain and Palin (and, in response by Obama and Biden) I can't imagine most of the main stream media would have bothered following him around, and giving him airtime. But that doesn't explain the left wing's continued fascination with him five weeks after the election. Why would people still care about a disposable campaign prop? I hardly think that a post by Pasta Joe counts as "the left wing's fascination".

KD in CA
I hardly think that a post by Pasta Joe counts as "the left wing's fascination". Neither do I. But I do consider nine 'Joe the plumber' threads in less than eight weeks to be a fascination. And I do consider factions of this board to be a reasonable representation of the frothing left.
