LabattBlue Posted December 9, 2008 Posted December 9, 2008 He should come off the wall, but I wouldn't announce in a press conference or even a press release. Just one day take it off the wall, next day people come in and the name is gone. No need to make a big deal out of it.

Just one day take it off the wall, next day people come in and the name is gone. No need to make a big deal out of it. Whats next, remove him from the hall of Fame and all the record books? Is it fair to Simpsons family or the men that helped OJ become famous? It would be a big deal, no way it doesn't get allot of publicity and it could possibly send a man over the edge to commit suicide. Is it even worth it? I say leave it alone, he's just a name on a wall, a reminder of the harsh reality in the real world. Maybe even a good lesson, just because OJ Simson wore a sports uniform once upon a time and broke allot of records it doesn't make him better than anyone else or mean that he's not capable of making mistakes. The history of football is full of good and and not so good characters and we can't change history. (One side of the argument) and I do see both sides
