Heels20X6 Posted December 8, 2008 Posted December 8, 2008 http://slam.canoe.ca/Slam/Columnists/Zeisb...670381-sun.html At least your loyal fans would have completely filled your stadium, The Ralph, for a December showdown with the hated Miami Dolphins. Toronto couldn't. At least you would have cheered enough to make your team think it actually was playing a home game. Toronto couldn’t. And at least you would have booed the (bleep) out of them after the final gun for another pathetic offensive performance, one that netted just three points and 163 net yards. Toronto didn’t. Well, we can all agree, the Toronto experiment is a failure yet sadly, we've got 4 more years of this...
Heels20X6 Posted December 8, 2008 Author Posted December 8, 2008 And another one... http://slam.canoe.ca/Slam/Football/NFL/200...668986-sun.html
stuckincincy Posted December 8, 2008 Posted December 8, 2008 Well, we can all agree, the Toronto experiment is a failure yet sadly, we've got 4 more years of this... ...and a prorogued Parliament.
aussiew Posted December 8, 2008 Posted December 8, 2008 It was weird on TV to see so many people there not wearing any team colors. Looked like a Cowboy game.
Beerball Posted December 8, 2008 Posted December 8, 2008 ...and a prorogued Parliament. is that Polish ravioli?
Heels20X6 Posted December 8, 2008 Author Posted December 8, 2008 ...and a prorogued Parliament. That ends on January 26th.....followed by our third election in two years. Canadian Democracy - Catch the Fever!
SDS Posted December 8, 2008 Posted December 8, 2008 That ends on January 26th.....followed by our third election in two years. Canadian Democracy - Catch the Fever! With your health care system? No thanks.
cody Posted December 8, 2008 Posted December 8, 2008 At least your loyal fans would have completely filled your stadium, The Ralph, for a December showdown with the hated Miami Dolphins. Toronto couldn't. Buffalo couldn't completly fill the stadium for the past 2 December showdowns with the hated Miami Dolphins.
Heels20X6 Posted December 8, 2008 Author Posted December 8, 2008 With your health care system? No thanks. I may have to wait nine months to see a doctor but it's still free!

Ice Cold Bruschi Posted December 8, 2008 Posted December 8, 2008 Boo hoo they would have said it was a success if you team was good and won the game. Who could be enthusiastic about a team that has scored 6 points in two weeks
CowgirlsFan Posted December 8, 2008 Posted December 8, 2008 It was weird on TV to see so many people there not wearing any team colors. Looked like a Cowboy game. I will agree. Not a whole lot of RED WHITE BLUE or ORANGE GREEN WHITE It was just a neutral blur.
IDBillzFan Posted December 8, 2008 Posted December 8, 2008 Boo hoo they would have said it was a success if you team was good and won the game. Who could be enthusiastic about a team that has scored 6 points in two weeks I can, if I find out soon that Bruschi is put on IR. See, when you suck like our team does, it's not hard to find the silver lining in things.
Lori Posted December 9, 2008 Posted December 9, 2008 Buffalo couldn't completly fill the stadium for the past 2 December showdowns with the hated Miami Dolphins. Incorrect. The game sold out in both seasons, although too late to lift the blackout in 2006. A blackout triggered in a stadium 20,000 seats larger than the Rogers Centre.
