Jim in Anchorage Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 Its been some years since I lived in Buffalo [14]. But I recall when I was there opium was illegal, expensive, and hard to come by.Now it seems to be as common as chewing gum, judging by the posts I see on the Bills playoff Chance's. Now if all these theory's play out [one million to one] who cares? Does anyone think they can play with the big boys-on the road? Wait till next year -I haven't forgot that one.
FloridaSnow Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 Boooo! (to the joke and the comment) Even if it is a a bit illogical, there is no reason to try and prematurely smash everyone's illusions of grandeur. Let our dreams and hopes get crushed in the usual way please.
H2o Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 Yep. It's going to be another fun filled playoffs filled with rooting against the Jets and Patriots while the Bills players are at home doing the same thing as me.

I do not so much care that they will "play with the big boys." Not saying I would turn a win down. I just think getting there shows that the franchise is finally taking steps in the right direction.
Jim in Anchorage Posted December 7, 2008 Author Posted December 7, 2008 Don't get me wrong. I would love to see the Bills kill Miami and every other team they play but some people are so wildly optimistic I worry about the crash. Better a " hope for the best, expect the worst" Sorry I am still bady ticked off over the S.F. game.
