slothrop Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 In the first round of the playoffs I have a tough choice. NOrmally I would start Romo without question. However he is playing against the #1 Steelers Defense who has made every QB look terrible. ROmo will also be without RB Barber. Big Ben has been playing better as of late. Do I start him against the Cowboys? or Romo? Quote
BuffOrange Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 I guess this would be the week to sit Romo if you ever would - I've read some experts recommending such. I still can't do it unless I have an alternative somewhere around the level of Cutler, not Ben. Also I don't think missing your RB hurts the fantasy production of a good QB. Quote
ans4e64 Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 There's no way I'd sit Romo on any given week, and especially for the struggling Roethlisberger. There's just too many weapons for the great Steelers defense to try and cover--Owens, Witten, Roy Williams, Crayton. The Steeler's only shot is if they can get consistent pressure on Romo, which is certainly attainable with the way Harrison is playing this year. But Roethlisberger isn't a good option, IMO. He's been playing with injuries this whole season. Quote
