You can't sue the school for your kids' stupidity. Now, I would not say that sexting is a bad idea. It is just crazy when it gets to the point of going into the realm of those boys possessing kiddie porn. That is really the only big issue out of this, as teenage sexuality has been around since the dawn of time. For the prude people who think that teenagers should not be having sex, they are not grounded in reality of teenage urges, and must have forgot what their teens were like. The reality is that parents should not be bitching about the school for their teenage daughters being skanks, they should be reflecting upon their parenting skills instead. It's like the parents are saying "Uh-oh. My daughters a skank! It has to be somebody's fault! Hmmm, who's fault could it be because it's not me!" One of the biggest problems in our society is lack of responsibility and that works on a lot of levels but we are talking specifically about parenting. When I was doing student teaching so many parents thought it was the schools job to teach the kids morals, but only THEIR morals. That's exactly what's happening here. "Why didn't your school teach the kids this was immoral! You should be teaching them that in sex-ed but nothing explicit in that class!" One parents morals are a lot different from another's and yet they believe that only their morals are the right ones and they don't want their child exposed to different ideas. Parents need to realize that their kids poor grades are their fault! Their kids lack of morals is their fault! Their kids use of violence is their fault!! THE PROBLEMS YOUR KID HAS IS YOUR FAULT!! Underage ones, at that. I've also said if she's over 18, she's fair game. But I would have little interest in someone young enough to be my daughter. Next May is the 18th anniversary of my college graduation, for heaven's sake. I'm less than six months away from my 40th birthday. And I'm married to a beautiful brunette who just passed the 40 threshhold herself. I'm currently waiting for Skankipedia. But, I did fine some beautiful ladies here. It all started with the 1960's. We've been on a perverbial "Highway to Hell" ever since. Some people like it and classify it as their personal freedom, others are opposed to this kind of behavior and deem it lawlessness. Axl Rose put it best when he said, "Welcome to the jungle, we've got fun and games..." and later on he screams "You're gonna die". Both are true realities of the America we live in. We have plenty of things to fill oneself with, but live by these loose moral standards and you will die twice. I think that "jungle" could be just as easily replaced with "modern day Sodom and Gomorrah", it just wouldn't have the same effect or fit with the tune. I agree with you on one point anyway, raising my daughters is the job of me and Mrs Rock. They are three beauties - not saints - but they know right from wrong and what acceptable behavior is! I agree with Bill Cosby. 16 year old girls are incredibly beautiful but God makes them talk and it takes away any sexual interest in them once you hear them speak.
