ExiledInIllinois Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 Even in the "Old West" one had to "check" their guns/weapons at the door of a saloon. What's Plaxico's problem?

elegantelliotoffen Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 But what about all the crazed gunmen Plaxico was defending everyone from? He should be given a medal!
HereComesTheReignAgain Posted December 4, 2008 Posted December 4, 2008 You would think the moron could at least have had the damn safety Many guns do not have safeties on them. The one I carry does not have a typical safety. It cannot fire if you drop it, but when you pull the trigger it fires. Of course you would have to be an idiot to carry a gun like that in your pocket or waistband. It requires a secure holster that covers the trigger.
Fingon Posted December 5, 2008 Posted December 5, 2008 I think it would be pretty easy to convince a jury to find him not guilty. All he has to do is bring out pictures of Sean Taylor, Javon Walker, and Richard Collier... then they can have players like Roethlisberger testify that they were robbed at gun point. His lawyer can then play up the fact that it's virtually impossible to get a conceal and carry license in NYC. That should be enough for at least a hung jury.
