Billsboyd
I have been a Bills fan since birth. Born in '87 my first memories of the Bills are of them being in the Superbowl for 4 years. Since then, I have had to face a few harsh realities, one of them being that the Bills are not the team that always wins, as I had implanted in my head while still having my baby teeth. But I was aware of the supposed cycle of the NFL. You can't be the best forever. So I have waited, just the same as everyone else in this city, for talent to return to the Ralph. Now, suffice it to say that there are a handful Bills "fans" who live in La La land that think bringing in the freshly demoted to ND string QB of the previous years Superbowl champions (#11? anyone?) is the type of move that will kick start our rapidly dwindling franchise. Some of these same fans are the type to claim SUPERBOWL BOUND after beating up on a division rival because our team is just that good right? No chance it could have been because we picked up the captain of their defense a mere 24 hours before game time, just enough time for him to spill the beans on their defensive game plan, and just not enough time for them to change it. Then you have other Bills fans who know what a real team needs. New talents out of college with some veterans that have been wearing our colors for a few years. It seemed like during the 2007 season, we were looking good with the addition of one Marv L, guiding the staff through one of the best drafts seen in a long time for our team. It was easy to see the potential that this younggg team had. One year later, Levy-less, our team falls back down the mountain, the injuries worse because of the height of the drop. Now, I look at a team that all of us dislike, Americas team, the Dallas Cowboys. 2 years ago this team was nothing much to look at. 1 year ago however, with the addition of another old NFL face, Bill Parcells, it seemed this team was unstoppable. Most analysts had the 2007 Cowboys as shoe-in NFC champions. Now, we look at the 2008 Cowboys, Parcell-less and look what happens. A few bumps in the road and the ride stops. But as most know, Mr Parcell did not return to retirement, but made his way down the East coast, a few coaches in tow, to another division rival. The 2007 Miami Dolphins were !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1-15!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Watching them was pathetic. But, suddenly, with the addition of this new face, the 2008 Miami Dolphins are playoff. Bound. With Chad "The Chad" Pennington playing receiver. I apologize for the length of this post, but I hope those who read it understand now that it is not the players you have or the coaches you hire. It is who. runs. the. team. And currently, the man who runs our team is trying to sell it to another country. Where do you think change needs to be made? Thank you for your time.
