stuckincincy Posted October 27, 2004 Posted October 27, 2004 Willis and Travis will both be named starters for Sunday. 87534 Hmm...will they use flags or starter pistols?
Mark VI Posted October 27, 2004 Posted October 27, 2004 Nothing like damage control. Tis the Political season.
Thailog80 Posted October 27, 2004 Posted October 27, 2004 Nothing like damage control. Tis the Political season. 87568 Only if he's running for Assclown of WNY.
JinVA Posted October 27, 2004 Posted October 27, 2004 Is this damage control? or does anyone think MM thinks he can improve the O with Willis and Travis in at the same time?
stevestojan Posted October 27, 2004 Posted October 27, 2004 Is this damage control? or does anyone think MM thinks he can improve the O with Willis and Travis in at the same time? 87581 That doesn't really matter. If in 1991 both Thurman and K Davis took the field for the first snap, K Davis knew damn well he wasn't the "starter" ... This is a kitty move by a kitty coach.

richjk21 Posted October 27, 2004 Posted October 27, 2004 Just had the same thing pop up on my Bills direct window.... Nothing like sending a perfectly clear mixed message .... you have to wonder if Mularky isn't truely in over his head...
stevewin Posted October 27, 2004 Posted October 27, 2004 I think this is pretty funny - you define 'starter' by who is on the field for the first play, so start with a formation where they're both in there and they're both the starters. Brilliant!! Wonder if this is a subtle middle finger by Mularkey to the media/fans.
Realist Posted October 27, 2004 Posted October 27, 2004 The only way I would agree with this is if they are both in together. If he just means they'll get approximately the same number of carries throughout the game, I don't like that. You need one back to carry the bulk of the load so he can build a rhythm.
stevestojan Posted October 27, 2004 Posted October 27, 2004 I don't think he's a kitty. I think he's trying to keep Travis' yap shut. 87588 Kelly, that's how you shut Tarvis's whining? Holy crap - you think this is how Levy would have done it? Dikta? Billicheck? Oh my lord, we are on a sinking ship, and our captain is wasted.
JinVA Posted October 27, 2004 Posted October 27, 2004 I don't think he's a kitty. I think he's trying to keep Travis' yap shut. 87588 Then again if Travis doesn't play I would think his trade value would drop. If indeed they do plan on trading him.
Guest Guest Posted October 27, 2004 Posted October 27, 2004 Willis and Travis will both be named starters for Sunday. 87534 If that means he's going with a two-back set commitment to the run and deemphasizing the convulsive spasms that masquerade as a passing game, I'm all for it.

Matter of fact all three of them were fired at one point in their careers.

Too bad TH can't block.
JÂy RÛßeÒ Posted October 27, 2004 Author Posted October 27, 2004 Mr. Rubeo - Is this serious? 87572 As a heart attack...

Can you actually post a quote, because the only one that seems to be doing the talking is Willis. Willis in preseason and willis now.
DPR4444 Posted October 27, 2004 Posted October 27, 2004 Maybe we can start two guys at every position?!? would it improve our chances, or would we just get twice as many stupid penalties?
