Bubbles 400
He makes an interesting point. As an sideline observer, I used to wonder why teams didn't make Deon work HARD, the whole game. They wouldn't run at him (why?) or throw at him and, at the end of the game, he was still fresh as a daisy. I always thought that, if I were a HC, I would be sure that Deon was involved in contact early and often. I understand that he still might burn you, if you throw at him later, but I'd prefer he actually have to EARN it, and not just hand it to him. Deon was nothing more than a "cover corner". Nothing but a fast and nimble pretty boy and he wasn't afraid to admit it. He was the exact opposite of Ronnie Lott. Look at some old films of Deon. When he had the chance to nail someone, he would instead choose to ankle tackle him or spin around behind and take him down with a Heimlich maneuver. Off-topic a bit...who was that white saftey the Bills used to have-had a german name-Schmidt, or Shultz or whatever....He liked to nail people, but sometimes he would whiff and the guy would get away. Wait a minute---I just expressed an opinion about the play of defensive backs. I never played defensive back beyond the touch football level...Please disregard what I just wrote
thebug
TRUST THE FANS! Canadians account for 64% of those arrested at Bills game Authorities also ejected 128 fans and turned away another 48 at the entrance gates, for being too intoxicated. http://www.buffalonews.com/cityregion/story/510815.html Maybe not the norm but during the Raiders game this season a couple of my buddies were arrested for exposure (pissing in public) thing is there were 3 of them pissing outside the stadium, 2 from Barrie, Ontario and 1 from Orchard Park. Guess which 2 actually faced charges? Just sayin'.

UncleBuff
Why the hate for Bubbles? Is thought provocation taboo? Knee jerk reactions aside, I doubt anyone here could manage the Bills any better (or worse) than the current regime. Anybody buy any of those ghetto rags from ML yet? Hey, he needs dough like anybody else, right? Maybe he should do some Geico commercials.
