Getting the ball at the 25 near games end was a gift; not able to pick up the first down and deciding to kick a field goal on 4th down rather than going for it boggles the mind. Even if your shaky field goal kicker makes it, you are still down four with little time left and need a defensive stop and and a TD or the game (season) is over. You are no worse off going for it on 4th; if you are stopped you still need the same thing: a defensive stop and a TD. Every percentage in the world screams out for going for it in that situation; DJ's decision is to kick (and miss) a field goal. Game and season over. The team struggles but this coaching staff just does not help because they just don't get it in terms of game management and strategy.
