In the 4th quarter, Freddie Jackson had 3 carries to Marshawn's 1 and Freddie gained -2 yards in those carries in the quarter. On a day where the rain and weather was a factor, we took the ball out of our best playmakers hands and put it into our back-up QB and back-up RB. This is why Jauron and co. need to go. The gross ineptitude is what cost us the game. 2nd and goal from the 2 and we pass twice. This is a team without an identity. Turk is a joke and isnt any better then Fairchild. And even though our defense looks mildly productive, the reality is that they suck at 3rd down conversions, and can't get off the field. The stupid zone defense with the huge gap between CBs and WRs while we attempt a miserable excuse for a blitz isn't working at all. So there you have it. First couple games you combine the unknown (Turk) with playing poor teams and it looked like he was on to something. Now that teams understand him he is struggling mightily. This is a team with stupid coordinators working for a clueless head coach. We will never know how good or bad the players are until NFL caliber coaches are brought in to teach them. I refuse to give up on Russ Brandon as far as his GM duties are concerned, unless he and Ralph decide to keep the status quo into next year. With the way the passing game was going, pounding it at that point WAS the only choice.....yet.... Schonert has shown to be an idiot. Against Cleveland when the game was screaming for play action (note: Edwards does need help with his play action fakes...give him some Esiason tapes) we ran. Today, at least on more run was deserving, we threw twice. Yeah, hindsight is 20-20, but our coaches (Schonert espcially) haven'tt shown one ounce of foresight. Lynch was truly in the "beast mode" today, and all of the sudden they stop giving him the ball in the 4th quarter. it defies all explanation Wanted to make sure Freddie was recognized for his "being a good teammate" skills. The one time Jackson should have come in for Lynch (after the 50 yarder) to give him a breather, they didn't substitute. Still have Dumb and Dumber on the sidelines and Dumbest in the Skybox.
