Obvious letdown game after clinching. Defense let KSU run for almost 400 yds. Even so, UB had 1st and goal with a minute left. TD wins it. FG ties for OT. WR Brett Hamlin fumbles into the end zone at the 1 as he was fighting for yardage. Then with about 45sec left, UB gives up 12yds on a 3rd and 11 QB option run to seal the game for KSU.

But if you are going to have a bad game, better it be a meaningless one. Let's hope Turner Gill gets the stink off them by next Friday.

They are division champs this year

And?

They finished 1 game ahead of Temple in the division, that was the game Temple handled them and lost on the hail mary. Implying that UB can do no wrong because they are "division champs" is crazy. Its still UB.

Dude, why so negative? There a local team that is improving. Give Credit where it is due.

Tackling by UB defenders was terrible.

The QB and HB of KSU did make some very elusive moves and

they had a good offensive scheme against

<like someone else said, a very average defense>

Man, it was COLD at UB Stadium yesterday.

Other than the cold it was a great experience at

the game.

The UB Stadium is a nice one and I encourage

anyone to go to a game there next season.

The original poster asked, "How did UB lose to Kent State" as if UB is some monumental team that can't lose to anyone.
