The Tomcat Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 I'm heading up with Krazy Haze from Phili by train for the game meeting a friend there. Does anyone know how the tailgateing works in New Jersey.... Fires burning? beer flowing? Dogs cooking? OH THE HUMANITY!!!!! What can I expect?
ET1062 Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 I have been to the Meadowlands twice for bills game. Stadium is surrounded with open parking lots, unlike many downtown stadiums. You will have a great time.
Flutie Flakes Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 I'm heading up with Krazy Haze from Phili by train for the game meeting a friend there. Does anyone know how the tailgateing works in New Jersey.... Fires burning? beer flowing? Dogs cooking? OH THE HUMANITY!!!!! What can I expect? Went to see the Giants play last year and to an Army/Navy game several years ago. Good tailgating (lots of beer and good grilling). No fires were allowed in the stadium lots although there were some fire pits in some of the private parking areas. It was fun but definitely not on par with tailgating at The Ralph. God I wish I was going to the Bills game this weekend! GO BILLS!
PearlHowardman Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 I went to a Bills-Jets game at the Meadowlands 4-5 years ago. The whole time I was completely amazed that I drove from Syracuse through Pennsylvania to New Jersey to see a "New York" team play the Buffalo Bills. I drove from New York to another state, two states away! Weird!
BuffaloWings Posted November 29, 2008 Posted November 29, 2008 With the new stadium going up, isn't the parking a nightmare? The last time I was there was Jan 1, 2006, but I heard stories of nightmare-ish parking and shuttle buses, etc.
