grammer_police Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 Think about it, everything is lining up right. Tenn. is comming off their first loss. Det. finally showed something in their last game.(they were up by 17 early) You know that Daunte has at least one great game in him left. Kerry is due for a meltdown.(Today could be his 3 int day) Tenn. basically already knows their getting a first round bye. Det. is desperite for respect. So, i'm calling it right now, biggest upset of the season(decade?).

IDBillzFan Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 Tennessee had their bad game last week and will absolutely destroy Detroit today.

So, i'm calling it right now, biggest upset of the season(decade?). Won't happen. The Lions were up 17 early, on a Buc team they know very well, then in a matter of minutes they were down 21-17. It only got WORSE from there for the Lions.

(was the game where the jerome bettis got screwed on the overtime coin toss against the lions? if so then I guess that is the only great thanksgiving game I can think of with the lions)
TheKing Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 No one cares about this game, including the detroit fans.
silvermike Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 If you're a Lions fan, are you rooting for 0-16 at this point? If you're going to be historically bad, you might as well be legendarily bad.

So, i'm calling it right now, biggest upset of the season(decade?). Tennessee coming off their first loss means they will be out for a measure of revenge. Det. showed that they can blow a 17 point lead in a matter of minutes. Agreed, but his great game won't be coming against the vaunted Tennessee defense. Same deal as above, Collins' 3 interception day might be coming, but not against the Lions D. Tennessee still has to fight for homefield advantage throughout, as the Jets have a good chance of finishing 12-4 or 13-3. Detroit SHOULD be desperate for respect but they're not playing like it. So, I'm calling it right now, most obvious win of the season (century?).
Pete Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 You know that Daunte has at least one great game in him left. You lost me here. No, I do not know that. Daunte is a chump!

Tim Anderson's Lunch Pail Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 You're not really going out on a limb here. I mean, if the Lions win I'm sure you'll bump the thread. But after they lose, the thread is just going to be sucked into the abyss of the archives.
BuffaloBill Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 You must partake in the Thanksgiving tradition of smoking crack.
MRW Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 Det. finally showed something in their last game.(they were up by 17 early) The Lions do that a lot. When they played the Packers they were down by two TDs I think, then rallied to take a lead in the second half, then ended up losing by 21. I think you're underestimating just how bad this Lions team is. Now that they've traded Roy Williams, who do they even have playing on offense?
MartyBall4Buffalo Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 The titans defense and chris johnson may win me fantasy football this week by themselves
grammer_police Posted November 27, 2008 Author Posted November 27, 2008 nice start by the lions... It aint over until ... the end of the 1st quarter
davefan66 Posted November 27, 2008 Posted November 27, 2008 HAA HAA HAA HAA HAAA Detroit looks GREAT! Only 21 - 3.
