BF_in_Indiana Posted October 27, 2004 Posted October 27, 2004 The people of St. Louis and Cardinals fans around the World know you are still around waiting to torment Boston again!!!!
Rubes Posted October 27, 2004 Posted October 27, 2004 I hope that's not all that you're hanging your hat on at this point...
wwovince Posted October 27, 2004 Posted October 27, 2004 Thats all hereally has to look for because his team once again is shooting themselves in the foot!! LMAO
BF_in_Indiana Posted October 27, 2004 Author Posted October 27, 2004 LOL, Nah, but a little help would be nice, LOL.
Alaska Darin Posted October 27, 2004 Posted October 27, 2004 You've prodded the bear all season and now you want help? Good luck with that.
BF_in_Indiana Posted October 27, 2004 Author Posted October 27, 2004 I never prodded the Bambino Just his former team!!!
Albany,n.y. Posted October 27, 2004 Posted October 27, 2004 Babe must have had a bad beer experience in St. Louis because with the baserunning blunder the Cardinals just made they have to be jinxed worse than the Red Sox. Any team named the Cardinals is the enemy this week!
BF_in_Indiana Posted October 27, 2004 Author Posted October 27, 2004 I can't believe how bad we have looked. This is not the same team that won 105 games and the N.L Pennant.
CentralVaBills Posted October 27, 2004 Posted October 27, 2004 I can't believe how bad we have looked. This is not the same team that won 105 games and the N.L Pennant. 87102 It might be BF. Difference is, the Red Sox don't play the Pirates, Brewers, and Reds 54 times a year. You had to know, that a good team would pound your pitching sooner or later. And while the Cards lineup is 2 times better, the RS pitchers are 10 fold better than SL. That seems like doom to me!
BF_in_Indiana Posted October 27, 2004 Author Posted October 27, 2004 I don't buy that. The Sox play plenty of bad teams too. Their starters are better, not their bullpen.

Expos, Mets, etc), and you have a Cards team that was able to club their way to the WS. Perhaps, they didn't prepare by picking up a starter to counter the heavy hitters in the AL. While the RS played some easy teams, they didn't nearly play as many as the Cards. Not the Cards fault, they dominated, however, I don't think they saw the big picture. Of course, neither did the rest of the NL. I always thought they should've done everyting they could to get Randy Johnson.

Gee, I vaguely remember telling you that a few times while you were touching yourself. Championships aren't won April-September. They are won in October. One day you'll learn.
BF_in_Indiana Posted October 27, 2004 Author Posted October 27, 2004 The Cardinals just haven't done what it takes, Boston has. Either way I'm proud of my team, we were picked 3rd in the division and we won 105 games and the N.L Pennant. It just seems to be Bostons time. Good for them.
BillsFanNC Posted October 27, 2004 Posted October 27, 2004 One day you'll learn. 87110 I wouldn't bet on that.

BF_in_Indiana Posted October 27, 2004 Author Posted October 27, 2004 I have a question, can we come up with some stupid curse for the White Sox next year? They haven't won since 1917. Hell they haven't even made it since 1959. There has to be some reason for that.
