Phlegm Alley
I apologize in advance if this is a stupid question...I'm not too much of a videophile. Will the HD channels be of better quality if I get an HD box even though it is an "enhanced" definition tv? It is a Panasonic, 42" plasma screen TV. If there is a difference, how much can I expect? I know it won't be nearly as high of a quality as HD, but would it be substantial enough of a difference to warrant getting the HD service even if its primarily only going to be used for sports? Thanks. -Bob
TheMadCap
Well, I think it's a great question since I have the same exact problem. Although my 42" is actually a monitor and I use it for my computer. It's super sweet!
plenzmd1
My gut tells me that yes, the HD feed would make a difference. I am not quite sure how ED (ehhanced definition, not the other ED my kids ask about during coomericals in the Bills games) is defined. I am guessing 480P, and I would think your TV is widescreen, so I would say getting the HD box just so the formatting is correct would be worth it.
