Like A Mofo Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 Nate Clements will be returning to Buffalo this weekend....how will you greet him if his name is announced?
bizell Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 Indifference would seem appropriate. agreed.
Flbillsfan#1 Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 Nate Clements will be returning to Buffalo this weekend....how will you greet him if his name is announced? If I were there I would politely cheer him (No standing O).
Chalkie Gerzowski Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 Standing ovation? Wow...time for a reality check. This sick idolization of athletes needs to end.
Hossage Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 Ill clap for him. Im not gonna get all excited about it though.
John Adams Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 He was an above average player for a few years who got overpaid and left. I could care less about him. Indifference.
Chalkie Gerzowski Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 I'll bend over and moon him...Singletary will hire me as the new offensive coordinator.
drnykterstein Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 I'll bend over and moon him...Singletary will hire me as the new offensive coordinator. Yes
Tortured Soul Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 What about Takeo's return? I'll cheer him!
Hossage Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 I dunno about you guys, but I like singletary. Reminds me of some of the old school badass type coaches i loved playing for. I dunno if thats gonna work for the clowns in the NFL, though.
Tim Anderson's Lunch Pail Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 Nate's return is meaningless. I would, however, clap for Mr. Spikes. Welcome back!!
WellDressed Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 Clements=Boo. Spikes=Cheer. Patrick Willis= Piss on neighbors shoes when Lynch is spotted.
Buffal0 Bill5 Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 I don't love or hate Clements, but I would greet him like every other player of the opposing squad. A boo, but not an emphatic boo. I would hold back my boo for Spikes.
Nick the Greek Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 clements is trash, i'd like to take a dump in his mouth. i'll be sure to boo him on sunday.. that is if i get in in time for those announcements, where as i'm normally trying to chug as much boooze as possible to avoid payin $9 per beer in the stadium.
flomoe Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 Who cares. He did what any normal player does nowadays. Big friggin deal!
BuffaloBill Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 What about Takeo's return? I'll cheer him! Yes ... he was a class act .. I've always hated the fact that he had to give up his prime years playing for a crappy Bills team.
keepthefaith Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 I dunno about you guys, but I like singletary. Reminds me of some of the old school badass type coaches i loved playing for. I dunno if thats gonna work for the clowns in the NFL, though. I really like Singletary too. Not only a tough guy, but a classy guy too. I think he can be a very good head coach. Maybe not in SF. Might not be the right crowd for him.
SectionC3 Posted November 26, 2008 Posted November 26, 2008 Yes ... he was a class act .. I've always hated the fact that he had to give up his prime years playing for a crappy Bills team. He was compensated rather nicely for his voluntary participation during those years. That said, stand up guy who deserves to play for a winner before he's done. As to Nate, I'll think about how he didn't knock down the ball on that long 4th down play against Jax a few years ago in a loss that ultimately may have caused us to miss the playoffs. After that, I'll ignore him.
