Toledo Bill
Does anyone else think that these comments contributed to the running plays where he just kept lowering his head (showing real courage and a little lack of sanity) on his running plays? I know all of the comments regarding Monday pertained to the passing game but I think he really wanted to prove his leadership and courage today. Good for him, I admire his efforts but hope he tones down the running just a little bit. I think his effort set a tone that his teamates have to admire. Realist
He did a great job today, but yes, on Monday, he played scared.
Hazed and Amuzed
TE was a deer caught in the headlights on Monday. He has been and still was afraid until that long pass to Evans and that first rushing TD today. You could see his confidence transform today. bleedinblue
Amazing how all it took was one single long throw and Trent's confidence came pouring on back. First downfield pass in 4 or 5 weeks, should have come a lot sooner. Edwards played like a pro today, albiet against a bad team, but that was just what he needed, now he must carry this forward to the remainder of the season.
