Nick the Greek Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 the more i think about it, and the more i see the bills implode, i feel like steve fairchild was a good offensive coordinator. i know the offense was bad last year, but we always had a running game. fairchild wasnt the same after he got hired by csu, but now i miss him more than ever.

He was garbage. He never called a screen to the WR, a slant, never used the TE or the full back. He was better at calling plays for our schemes, but that's like judging goodness by evil.
eliteqb Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 oops, i thought this thread was about trent.....

Thats because last year we either had a rookie qb with no film or a qb with a deep ball and some mobility. Now we have neither, so nothing works. Fairchild still did bad with both, and so does schonert
BillsObserver Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 haha, the coordinator who wouldn't allow his quarterback to call an audible. Seriously, he was one of the worst offensive coordinators we have had in a long, long time. How could you miss this guy?
Hardy Pyle Posted November 22, 2008 Posted November 22, 2008 ...you guys don't have a clue. ...you were the same ones running Gilbride, Mularkey and Henning out of town.

Did you miss Fairchild after the San Diego game? I doubt it. Fairchild's offense was boring and predictable. Not a game went by when teh offensive game plan was sharply criticized. Always had a running game??? This line could NOT open holes last year. 3rd and 2 was an obvious passining down.

Nick the Greek Posted November 23, 2008 Author Posted November 23, 2008 let me re-phrase. he's better than turk, and with all the int's trent's been throwing lately, i wouldn't let him audible either.. maybe he was onto something.

My Friends Call Me Tebucky Posted November 23, 2008 Posted November 23, 2008 You're kidding, right? Fairchild was incompetent...Schonert hasn't proven to be anything, for certain, yet.
