grammer_police Posted November 20, 2008 Posted November 20, 2008 Direct link to story: http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/eticket/story?page=buffalo58 Pretty interesting article. This story really makes me proud to be a Buffalonian. Even though Buffalo has been at a decline for YEARS we are still the classiest town in the US.

I'm surprised I'd never heard it before, being from Buffalo and all.
silvermike Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 Nice to see a Buffalo football team with heart.
drnykterstein Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 How awesome if the team made a bowl game this year 50 years later .. with a black head coach. ... Unless UB is at good at smashing my hopes as the Bills are.
McD Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 That's just a great story. I'm surprised I'd never heard it before, being from Buffalo and all. Real cool story...it would be nice if WE had a coach that made our team outhit the other team from whistle to whistle.

murra Posted November 21, 2008 Posted November 21, 2008 Their basketball game against Ohio a few years ago certainly proved that to be true. Not to mention their disappointing quick exit at the NIT
