In talking with a clinical pshycologist who watched last night's debacle, he observed in Trent:

-lack of decision making ability

-inability to coordinate physical reactions with mental commands ( horrendous decisions on throws when he could decide)

- complete lack of confidence

-inability to process information quickly, if at all.

All of this in retrospect of his performance before the hit, and just the fact of the hit and the portions of the brain that were bruised .

He thinks that TE is playing through obvious post concussive trauma syndrome. He's not only jeopardizing this team's performance and his image, but he's one good hit away from a permanaent trip to la-la land, and I don't mean when the Bills get sold and sent to LA.

TE needs to be benched for the season. He has had a serious injury that despite the San Diego game, these things don't happen in a linear fashion, he has NOT recovered from and his mental condition is getting progressively worse.

That much is painfully obvious over the last 4 weeks.

He is putting his permanent mental health at risk.

Bench him now for God's sake!

And how exactly can you prove this? If TE's goes to a "head" doctor, what will they do differently that the Bills doctor's have already done? He will most likely be given the same examination and the same tests in which he passed with the Bills doctors. I just don't understand how some quack watching TV can diagnose something the doctors, that deal with him almost on a daily basis, do not. It's a convenient excuse, but the fact is defenses are trying to confuse a young QB. Cleveland dropped 8 guys back and TE's looked confused because, basically, he was! That was not the Browns normal D that the Bills had spent all week preparing for. He is young and we are dealing with the growing pains of a young QB, he is seeing a lot of different looks for the first time in his career. it's what Defensive cooridinators do to young QB's, throw different looks at them and see how they react. Now McNabb on the other hand, could very well be playing with a concussion, so bench him for God's sake....oh wait, they already did...
