DonInBuffalo
OL coach Sean Kugler is in his first year as an NFL OL coach. He was an "assistant OL coach" last season, and worked primarily with the tackles. Most of our OL problems this season have been with interior linemen. When he was in Detroit, part of the time when Jauron was also there, he "worked with OL and TE", which means he probably didn't do much with interior linemen there either. "Pill" is in his first year as an NFL QB coach. His only previous QB coaching experience was for NFLE and UB. His first two years working for the Bills he was a "quality control" coach, responsible for breaking down film, which sounds almost like a glorified clerical job. Turk Schonert had never held any coaching job other than QB coach prior to this season. His resume includes "developing" JP Losman while he was the starter here, also Aaron Brooks for the Saints in 2005 when they had a 3-13 record, Kerry Collins in 2003 when the Giants had a 4-12 record, Chris Wienke for the Panthers in 2001 when they went 1-15, Flutie/Johnson in Buffalo from 1999-2000, and Tampa Bay from 1992-1995 when they never had a winning season during that time. Starting to see a pattern here?
