Drew & Tom D

;) No better demonstration of Bledsoe's fatal flaw than Sunday - the complete inability to make good decisions under pressure; a must in today's NFL. Mobility is a distant secondary issue; Rob Johnson was mobile but could not make decisions either. Brady is not mobile, great decision maker. The red zone really brings this out, the field is shrunk and the pressure is always there. Every single decision he made in the red zone Sunday was horrible. From his panicky throw to a wide open Moulds to his complete zoning in on Lee Evans, creating triple coverage, then throwing in to it. It does not get worse than that.

The longer term issue for the franchise is TD; does he really know what he is doing? They had a huge period of time to evaluate Bledsoe; and chose to commit a lot of money to him; dead cap money as of next year. There was no competition for Bledsoe's services!!! He had the same type of evaluation period with Flutie and Johnson, and was wrong there too as Flutie is still an effective back up in this league and RJ is long gone. Travis's trade value will now take a big hit, as Willis should now take over. I hope he is right about JP, because it now appears that he paid a huge price to get him. There was a huge falling out in Pittsburg between Cowher and TD over player and game philosophy; Pitt chose Cowher, and it appears that was a wise decision.

A better question is actually "Does Ralph Wilson know what he's doing?" After all, he's the one who had the vision to hire TD. It's time we hold Ralph accountable.

good points. It's time Donahoe was truly held to task, because that Bledsoe contract is insane. It's true that there was no competition, but hopefully Parcells will want him at the end of the season.

5th round draft pick.

why would Parcell's want a turnover machine that can't score from the red zone?

It all depends upon Parcells assessment of whether Vinny Testaverde is a betteroption for him so he would have zero interest if there is a better option. However, folks seem to confuse the fact that it is very difficuklt to win with Bledsoe at QB with the concept that it is impossible to win with Bledsoe as QB.

Parcells already demonstated early in Bledsoe's career and BB demonstrated later in Bledsoe's career that it is possible to make it to the Big Dance or to win a must-win game with Bledsoe at QB if you have:

1. Outstanding coaching

2. Outstanding shared leadership of the team

3. An offensive scheme which uses Bledsoe's talents as a change-up and does not depend upon him to carry the team himself as talents like Montana or Elway did.

MM is young, but no one mistakes him for Parcells yet. The Bills have good potential internal leaders but have not gelled yet at all in terms of internal leadership and you can see this lack of internally forced discipline in their play. Finally, Drew has some uniqu talents but no one should mistake his brain for Montana's or his wheels for Elway. As Dan Marino demonstrated a gereat arm does not an SB winner make.

there is no trade value for Bledsoe , none, nada, zero. Eat the cap and move on.

As for Henry, I say third rounder at best, maybe 2nd rounder near end of round. This league does not give draft picks away(SD for McCardell excepted).

When a QB goes over the hill, there is no coming back. The NFL where Drew could succeed is gone. We're stuck with a white elephant as QB, and a total jackass as GM.

And an owner who is responsible for all of it.

If we're going to blame people and point fingers, do it right.

The buck stops with Wilson. This is his fault.
