RayFinkle
Audfarewell.com For out of towners, or those who forgot: ONLINE AUCTION OF PREMIUM SEATSAn online auction to bid on premium "blue seats" and dasherboards from the Aud is scheduled to begin on Monday, November 17th at 8pm and conclude on Monday, November 24th at 8pm. Approximately 100 sets of original blue seats will be available for bidding on in pairs of 2, sets of 3, and sets of 4. A few dasherboard panels, many of which still contain the advertiser logos, will also be available for auction. A portion of the proceeds from the auctions will be used to build a memorial to the Aud on or near the site which is being cleared for downtown economic development. I bought a set of blues this past weekend. I am going to be mounting them in my rec room someday. Good stuff.

Only Blue section (all wood) are being sold. The other seats were trashed due to mold and other crud growing on them after years of neglect. We had Sabres season tickets in the early 80's, for about 4 years, fifth row in the oranges, around the 20 yard line (if it were a football field) left side of the players tunnel......good times!
